Creating a positive campus climate for LGBTQ+ folx requires efforts both in-and out-of-class. The lack of representation/visibility of diverse experiences can be detrimental for all students regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity. To frame the discussion of LGBTQ+ inclusive courses and campuses, this session will utilize analyses from a large-scale, multi-institution quantitative and qualitative data set. This study examined student perceptions of the inclusion of LGBTQ+ issues in curricula and the relationship to other forms of engagement.
